    • This presentation covers requirements for excavators (people or entities digging) to notify a regional center before excavation and to wait for appropriate responses from utility operators. Emphasis will be placed on the key differences between Government Code and Title 8 Construction Safety Orders with respect to mandatory participation in regional notification.

    • In this session NOAA will guide participants on planning operations around hazardous weather conditions, especially in wildfire-prone regions. Participants will learn how to recognize dangerous weather patterns related to heat, smoke, lightning, and wind. Designed specifically for those operating in outdoor environments, this course enhances safety and preparedness among construction crews, utility workers, landscapers, agricultural staff, firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement, park rangers, safety officers, and emergency planners.

    • Learn how to recognize fall hazards and use protective systems to stay safe when working at heights. This course covers OSHA requirements, equipment use, and best practices to prevent falls.
