Mark Marchione Mark Marchione serves as a Regional Whistleblower Investigator at the US Department of Labor – OSHA Region IX in San Francisco, CA. Mark has been with OSHA for two years and has investigated a number of whistleblower complaints across the 22 statute spectrum over which OSHA has jurisdiction. Mark is a retired Coast Guard Marine Safety Officer who served honorably for twenty years. He began his career in investigations in the Coast Guard as a Pollution Investigator at USCG Marine Safety Office Hampton Roads in Norfolk, VA. While in Norfolk, Mark also served as a Marine Casualty Investigator, Personnel Action Investigator, and Civil Penalty Investigator. Later, while assigned to Coast Guard Marine Safety Office Houston-Galveston, in Houston, TX, Mark served as the Senior Investigating Officer and oversaw a staff of active duty, reserve and auxiliary investigators. Throughout his career, Mark also conducted numerous internal administrative investigations for the Coast Guard.
