Currently the Safety, Health and Environmental Manager for Action Cleaning, Maria has over 20 years experience in the shipyard industry in the Environmental and Safety fields conducting training in English and Spanish on topics such as Confined Space, Personal Protective Equipment, Fire Safety, Hazard Communication, Environmental BMP’s and Person in Charge per 33 CFR 154.710 and California Marine Facilities Regulations. Maria also writes and implements safety and environmental plans per OSHA, Coast Guard, Department of Transportation, and other entities while ensuring certification and adherence to all county, state, and federal regulations. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Maria also has Chemical Laboratory experience in the analysis of waste water, soils, oils, potable water and other materials.
